TOKYO, March 10 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average was flat

better-than-expected machinery orders helping to offset a drop
for recall-hit Toyota Motor Corp <7203.T> after an incident
involving a Prius in the United States.
The benchmark Nikkei <.N225> ended virtually flat, dipping
3.73 points to 10,563.92.
The broader Topix <.TOPX> fell 0.2 percent to 922.44.
