Mr. Spanakis referred to the projects that have been included by the Ministry of the Interior, which exceed110 million euros. He referred in detail tothe 228projects that are fundedsolelyby the Ministry of the Interior.
He had the opportunity to talk about the government's economic and tax policy and to refer in detail to the areas that will havereduced ENFIA (property tax) for 2026andzero for 2027 in the Dodecanese. He noted thatmore than 58areasinRhodeswill have a reduction in ENFIA in 2026.
Mr. Spanakis referred in detail to the projects being carried out in the Dodecanese, specifically inRhodes: thePedagogical Academy, theNational Theater, the"Kallipateira" Sports Center, etc. He spoke about the sewerage system, plumbing, and road safety projects.
He also made extensive reference to the 2026 tourist season and the benefits for workers from reduced tax rates. He placed particular emphasis on the government's economic policy for pensioners and said:"We deliveron our promises."
Mr. Spanakis thanked the New Democracy executives for their long-standing support for the party and stressed that:"Our goal is for New Democracy to exceed 50% in the Dodecanese in the next national elections."
The Deputy Minister of the Interior also referred to the 70% increase in government funding for municipalities from 2019 to date, with municipalities such asHalkiseeingan increaseof 189%,Kastellorizo sawan increaseof225%, andAgathonisi saw an increase of 344%.
In closing, Mr. Spanakis referred to the credibility of the government's rhetoric and pointed out that in the next national elections, we will be judged on the implementation of what we committed to in 2023. He called on officials to be ready for the battle of the next national elections.
