Guilfoyle for March 25th: The Greeks paved the way to independence

To mark the celebration of the Greek Revolution of 1821, Kimberly Guilfoyle posted a message on Twitter honoring Greece’s national anniversary.

More specifically, in her post for March 25, the U.S. ambassador writes that “In 1821, with the slogan‘Freedom or Death,’ the Greeks paved the way to independence, ”highlighting the profound symbolism and deep historical significance of the nation’s rebirth.

“In 1821, with the slogan ‘Freedom or Death,’ the Greeks paved the way to independence. Two centuries later, the ties between our two great peoples, rooted in faith, freedom, and patriotic love, remain vibrant and ever-growing. I wish all Greeks a happy and prosperous Independence Day, and I look forward to what we will achieve together in the coming year."
