The Minister of Environment and Energy,Mr. Stavros Papastavrou,is traveling to Dubrovnik, Croatia, accompanying the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulas, to the Summit of the Three Seas Initiative and the Three Seas Economic Forum organized by Croatia on April 28–29, 2026.
Today, Tuesday, April 28, Mr. Papastavrou will participate in the Summit’s Economic Forum as a speaker on the panel “The Adriatic-Ionian Corridor” alongside his counterparts from Central and Eastern Europe. Subsequently, together with the Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States, Ms. Allison Hooker, as well as the President and CEO of the Japan External Trade Organization, Mr. Isiguro Norihiko, he will participate in a closed-door working lunch discussion at the Economic Forum on the topic of “Pivot to Asia.”
On Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Papastavrou will hold a bilateral meeting with the Croatian Minister of Economic Relations, responsible for energy, Mr. AnteŠušnjar. In addition, together with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, they will meet with the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Tasoulas.
On the morning of Wednesday, April 29, the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Papastavrou, will speak at a roundtable discussion on “Advancing Energy Corridors in the Three Seas Region,” organized by the U.S. Secretary of Energy, Mr. Chris Wright, with the participation of counterpart ministers from Croatia, Poland, Lithuania, and countries in Southeast Europe.
