Following a request from the Mayor submitted on Monday morning, there was an immediate response, and it was agreed to hold an online meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6, at 4:00 p.m. with members of Ryanair’s management to ascertain the company’s exact intentions and receive an official update on what has actually happened.
A letter was sent to Fraport requesting clarification on whether the terms of cooperation with Ryanair have changed and whether Ryanair’s intentions have been communicated to the managing company.
A letter was sent to Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni to inform her of the situation that has arisen.
Finally, it was agreed that an expanded meeting of all city stakeholders would be held by the end of the week to present and evaluate all the facts and data and to ensure coordinated action.
