Char. Trikoupi announced today the new members of PASOK’s Enlargement and Coalition Committee.
As the committee’s chairman, Kostas Skandalidis, emphasized at the committee meeting, “no one is expendable” because, in politics,“it is enough to mobilize the democratic and progressive consciousness of citizens”and“to form a genuine political and social movement that will lead them to the polls.”
In this effort, he said, “we must and should be the trailblazers, opening up the horizon of participation and solidarity on the path to the elections.”
For this reason, Mr. Skandalidis added: “Our duty to history and our journey demands that we keep our doors open to every leader, to every citizen. To every progressive and modernizing force that understands the critical needs of a deadlocked situation for the country and for politics itself.”
