The General Price Index for Construction Materials for New Residential Buildings, with a base year of 2021=100.0 and a reference month of April 2026, showed an increase of 4.1% compared to the corresponding index for April 2025 , compared to an increase of 3.3% recorded when comparing the corresponding indices for 2025 with those for 2024.
The General Index for April 2026, compared to the index for March 2026, showed an increase of 1.0%, compared to a decrease of 0.01% recorded when comparing the corresponding months of 2025.
The average index for the 12-month period from May 2025 to April 2026, compared to the corresponding index for the 12-month period from May 2024 – April 2025, showed an increase of 2.6%, compared to an increase of 4.9% recorded when comparing the corresponding previous 12-month periods.
