The final lists of eligible applicants, beneficiaries, and those excluded from the Social Tourism Program the final lists of eligible applicants, beneficiaries, and those excluded from the Public Employment Service’s (PES) 2026–2027 Social Tourism Program on its website, www.dypa.gov.gr.
The program, which involves 300,000 vouchers with a budget of 50 million euros, will begin on May 23, 2026, and will run for 13 months, ending on June 22, 2027.
Eligible recipients may stay for up to 6 nights at an accommodation of their choice from the DYPA “Provider Registry,” following consultation with the provider, with a small personal contribution.
Specifically, in Leros, Lesbos, Chios, Kos, Samos, and Rhodes, up to 10 nights can be spent free of charge (zero personal contribution), while in the municipalities of Northern Euboea and Evros, as well as in Thessaly (excluding the Sporades), up to 12 nights can be provided free of charge.
In addition to stays in tourist accommodations, ferry tickets are also subsidized. The personal contribution is 25%, while tickets are free for people with disabilities.
Subsidy rates are increased by 20% for the peak month of August and for the Christmas (from December 15, 2026, to January 14, 2027) and Easter (from April 23, 2027, to May 9, 2027). The increased subsidy applies year-round for accommodations in Northern Euboea, Evros, and Thessaly (excluding the Sporades).
For ferry travel, eligible beneficiaries print the voucher from the DYPA e-services and go to travel agencies, ticket offices, or the providers’ online ticket counters. There, they present the printed voucher and request the issuance of a Social Tourism Ticket for the category to which they belong. Please note that no supporting documents are required for any category, with the exception of the large-family category.
Please note that beneficiaries of last year’s program who have not yet activated their vouchers may take a vacation until June 30, 2026.
