With its publication in the Government Gazette, the strategic investment status for Project Olympus is officially activated.
This is one of the largest investments in recent years undertaken by AGET Heracles, a member of the Holcim Group.
The investment, totaling 99 million euros, has been designated a “Flagship Investment of Exceptional Importance,” securing significant incentives, including an immediate grant of €24.64 million, a tax exemption of €6.16 million, and fast-track permitting. At the same time, the project includes the possibility of granting access to the foreshore and beach, a feature that highlights the scope of the plan.
The investment plan was initially submitted to Enterprise Greece in October 2022, with a series of supplementary submissions continuing through June 2025, reflecting the project’s lengthy development process. The positive opinion for its designation as a flagship investment was issued in July 2025, while the final decision was published in the Government Gazette a few hours ago (May 22).
