The Hellenic Cadastre is notifying property owners in areas of the Regional Units of Heraklion and Chania in the Region of Crete and Lesbos and Lemnos of the North Aegean Region, that on Monday, May 25, 2026 the posting of the cadastral tables and diagrams will begin.
The posting process is conducted entirely digitally, without the obligation to citizen to appear in person at the Cadastral Office.
After updating their contact information on the website, property owners www.ktimatologio.gr, can check and confirm or correct the recording of their property, thereby avoiding costly legal proceedings time, money, and hassle.
Specifically, they should review and verify:
- The description and legal information regarding their properties (Cadastral Table)
- The boundaries of their land parcels (Cadastral Map)
If they agree with the information in the Post, they do not need to take any further action.
If they find that they do not agree with any of the information, they may submit a request for correctionwithin two months of the posting date, digitally to www.ktimatologio.gr or at the Cadastral Office, by appointment. Please note that the these deadlines apply to both residents of Greece and residents abroad and the Greek government.
To submit applications to correct an obvious error, the deadline is July 27, 2026.
Upon the publication of this notice, the provisions of Article 5 of Law 2308/1995 shall take effect regarding the drafting of contracts, court proceedings, and registration of any deed with the Land Registry.
