The Regulatory Authority for Water and Wastewater (RAAEW) has approved EYATH’s financial costs and tariffs for the 2025–2029 regulatory period, paving the way for increases in water and sewerage charges in Thessaloniki.
The decision of RAEY’s Water Sector, numbered Y-3/2026 and dated April 30, 2026, establishes the company’s new costing and pricing framework for the coming years, as part of the implementation of the new regulatory model for water services.
The approval is part of the new regulatory framework that provides for the recovery of water providers’ operating and investment costs, with the aim of ensuring the sustainability of the networks and boosting investment in infrastructure.
The RAEY decision is expected to serve as the basis for the gradual implementation of EYATH’s new tariffs by 2029.
