On Monday, May 25, the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Athanasios Davakis, visited the INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) facilities in Koropi. The Deputy Minister and his entourage were welcomed by IDE CEO Georgios Troullinos, along with senior company executives.
During the visit, the advanced technological solutions that the company designs, develops, and manufactures to meet the needs of the Hellenic Armed Forces and international customers were presented. Particular emphasis was placed on the following areas:
At the same time, special mention was made of IDE’s participation in major national, European, and international programs, as well as the establishment of strategic partnerships with leading organizations in the global defense industry.
This was followed by a tour of the design and production facilities for IDE’s innovative products, including the laboratory infrastructure and the new state-of-the-art electronic circuit assembly line, an investment aimed at keeping the company at the forefront of innovation.
During the visit, IDE’s contribution to the development of a strong and self-sufficient domestic defense ecosystem was highlighted, through the advancement of Greek expertise, the creation of highly specialized jobs, and the strengthening of domestic industrial production, the announcement concludes.
