Ilias Pitsavos will become Wolt’s new head of the Greek market starting in February 2026, at a time when Greece is one of the company’s fastest-growing markets globally.
With many years of experience in the technology, e-commerce, and digital payments sectors, Elias Pitsavos takes on his new role with the aim of further strengthening Wolt’s presence in Greece.
Prior to joining Wolt, he served as the head of Klarna in Greece. He has also held leadership roles at leading technology companies, such as Ericsson and IBM, both in Greece and abroad, gaining significant international experience.
He is a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and holds an MSc in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey and an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School.
As part of the new organizational structure, Ilias Pitsavos will work closely with Dimitris Karelos, Wolt’s Regional General Manager for Southeast Europe and Central Asia, with the shared goal of shaping the company’s strategy and further expanding its presence in the Greek market.
