The Hellenic Public Properties Company (ETAD), a subsidiary of the Superfund, announces that the open electronic auction (e-auction) for the development of yet another historic hotel, the “Xenia Vytinas” in Arcadia.
"OTUS I.K.E." was declared the winning bidder in the lease tender, which was conducted via the electronic platform www.e-publicrealestate.gr, having submitted the highest bid of 121,003.63 euros.
The development of “Xenia Vytina” involves a long-term lease of the property for 40 years, with the option to extend for an additional ten (10) years. The property covers an area of 36,638 square meters, within which there is a non-operational hotel with a total floor area of 1,315.93 square meters, plus a 61.65-square-meter basement, and a capacity of 20 double rooms.
“Xenia Vytina” was built in 1961 based on designs by architect Kostas Bitsios and was designated a monument by the Central Council of Modern Monuments in 2008.
The revitalization of the historic Xenia properties included in ETAD’s portfolio is a key pillar of the company’s strategy to activate and highlight properties of special cultural and developmental value, while keeping society and local communities at the center. By restoring iconic properties to modern use, ETAD seeks to contribute to the development of high-quality destinations, attract investment, and boost local economic activity.
