The former prime minister’s team has expressed satisfaction with the warm reception received by the “Hellenic Left Alliance—ELAS” just 24 hours after its launch event at Thiseio.
Alexis Tsipras, in a post on social media today, Thursday, shared a video with highlights from the event at Thiseio Square, writing: “The Greek Left Alliance has kept its appointment with history. Now we are all setting out together on a beautiful journey of participation and struggle for a better Greece.”
The registration platform "crashed"
According to reports, the response from Alexis Tsipras’s friends and supporters was so overwhelming that, in the first few hours following the party’s official launch , the new member registration platform members.myelas.gr was temporarily taken offline.
The former prime minister’s associates immediately took steps to resolve the issue.
Through the digital platform, interested individuals can sign the founding declaration, register as new members, and indicate the policy areas that interest them most.
