The online platform A21 – Child Allowance opens tomorrow, Friday, May 29, 2026, the A21 – Child Allowance online platform will open for the submission of new applications or amendments to existing ones (for the year 2026), according to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and OPEC.
The platform will remain open until July 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Child Benefit recipients can submit their application on the relevant platform using their personal Taxisnet login credentials.
The eligible amount will be calculated based on the dependent children declared in the 2026 A21 application and the total family income that beneficiaries had in the 2024 tax year.
After submitting this year’s Income Tax Return, the income from the 2025 tax year will be taken into account for calculating the eligible amount.
Please note that among the conditions that will be verified for the granting of the child allowance are: the enrollment of dependent children in compulsory education—from preschool through junior high school—as well as satisfactory academic performance.
To complete the application, it must be submitted definitively. An application that has been temporarily saved is considered not submitted and will not be taken into account.
More information about the Child Allowance is available on the OPEC website.
