The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announces the Turnover and Volume Indices for Retail Trade, with a base year of 2021=100.0 and a reference month of March 2026, the evolution of which, according to provisional data adjusted for the number of working days in a standard month of equal duration, is as follows:
- The General Turnover Index for the month of March 2026, compared to the corresponding index for March 2025, showed an increase of 6.1%, and compared to the corresponding index for February 2026, an increase of 4.2%.
- The General Volume Index (turnover at constant prices), for the month of March 2026, compared to the corresponding index for March 2025, showed an increase of 3.0%, and compared to the corresponding index for February 2026, an increase of 0.7%.
- The seasonally adjusted General Turnover Index for March 2026, compared to the corresponding index for February 2026, showed an increase of 0.2%.
- The seasonally adjusted General Volume Index for March 2026, compared to the corresponding index for February 2026, decreased by 0.5%.
