The 7th Occupational Insurance Conference - #ocin26, titled “Occupational Insurance at the Heart of the European Strategy for Savings and Investments, ” aims to document the developments that took place last year at the domestic and European levels in the field of occupational insurance, with particular emphasis on the pivotal role of occupational pension schemes, within the framework of the new European strategy to mobilize savings, channel them into productive investments, and support the competitiveness of the European economy.
At the same time, the Conference highlights the importance of Occupational Insurance as a key pillar for ensuring pension adequacy at the individual level, as well as the long-term sustainability of the Social Security System at the macroeconomic level.
Through presentations, empirical analyses, and in-depth talks by distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad, the event aims to provide participants with comprehensive and in-depth information on the issues that have been, and are expected to be, in 2026, the 2nd Pillar of Social Security at the national and European levels, particularly in light of European policies aimed at mobilizing private savings and channeling them into the real economy.
