Eurobank continues its longstanding support for the Hellenic Armed Forces by helping to upgrade the Hellenic Navy’s healthcare infrastructure through the financing of the renovation of the Diabetes Clinic at the Salamis Naval Hospital, at the Salamis Naval Base.
The inauguration ceremony for the renovated Diabetes Clinic took place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the presence of the representative of the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff and Commander of the Hellenic Navy Administrative Support Command (DDMN), Vice Admiral (M) Pierros Kontodios, HN, and senior officers of the Hellenic Navy.
According to the relevant press release, Eurobank’s management was represented at the inauguration ceremony by Deputy CEO Mr. Iakovos Giannaklis, while Ms. Elina Nikaki, Head of Specialized Segments, was also in attendance.
The donation supports the upgrade of a critical medical support unit at one of the Hellenic Navy’s most important operational and technical support centers, strengthening the health services provided and improving the daily lives of the personnel serving at the Salamis Naval Base.
At the same time, the Diabetes Clinic also serves residents of the local community of Salamis, enhancing access to upgraded healthcare services in the wider region.
