At the opening ceremony of the leading international shipping exhibition "Posidonia 2026, " the country’s Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Mr. Vassilis Kikilias, the Chinese Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Fang Qiu, the President of the Union of Greek Shipowners, Ms. Melina Travlou, as well as other government officials and media representatives, visited the PPA S.A. booth, where they received a warm welcome from its President, Mr. Han Chao, and other Company executives.
As noted in the relevant press release, during their visit to the exhibition booth, they had the opportunity to learn about the dynamic and growing trajectory of the Port of Piraeus across many port sectors, such as Cruise, the Container Terminal, the Car Terminal, the Ship Repair Zone, and Coastal Shipping, which have transformed the port into a global hub.
The Chairman of PPA S.A., Mr. Han Chao, after welcoming the visitors to the Company’s booth, stated: “With our presence at Posidonia 2026, we honor this important international exhibition. For us, it is an opportunity to highlight the major investments made in the Port of Piraeus, which have led to its upgrading and modernization across all sectors in terms of sustainability, green growth, and the use of new technologies within a modern, digitized environment."
