As of June 1, Ms. Peggy Kampoli has assumed the role of Demand Planning Manager and Ms. Thalia Koletsi has assumed the role of Business Insights Manager on the BAT Hellas Management Team , with responsibility for Greece, Malta, Cyprus, and Israel.
According to the relevant announcement, Ms. Kampoli is responsible for demand planning and supporting commercial growth through data utilization, while Ms. Koletsi focuses on analyzing market data and consumer behavior, contributing to the formulation of commercial strategy.
At the same time, one in four internal transfers resulted in women assuming roles on the Management Team.
BAT Hellas notes that these promotions reflect the company’s culture of equal opportunity and internal development, as approximately 8% of employees moved to new roles within the company during the first half of the year.
BAT Hellas maintains a balanced gender representation, with an increased proportion of women in its Management Team (55% compared to 45% men). This same balanced representation is consistently maintained both across all leadership positions (52% women and 48% men) and within the organization’s broader workforce (51% women and 49% men).
At the same time, the company’s dynamism is reinforced by its multigenerational work environment, where four different generations coexist and collaborate—a factor that ensures diversity of opinion, a broader perspective, and the integration of diverse experiences in day-to-day operations.
