For the second consecutive year, the AKTOR Group of Companies is implementing the successful AKTOR4TheFuture Scholarship Program, which is the largest of its kind in Greece and offers young Greek scientists opportunities to pursue graduate studies at leading universities in Greece and abroad, followed by a guaranteed five-year position within the AKTOR Group.
According to the relevant announcement, the application process begins today at www.aktor4thefuture.gr, while the evaluation will be completed in the coming weeks. The results will be announced in July, with the goal of having the scholarship recipients begin their studies in September 2026. The selection of scholarship recipients will be based on strict criteria of excellence, such as high academic performance and specialization in critical fields.
The AKTOR Group Scholarship Program will support young people pursuing graduate studies abroad and in Greece in fields such as Engineering, Technology & Artificial Intelligence, Energy & Environment, as well as Business, Finance, and Management, subsequently offering them a guaranteed position within the Group for at least five years and thereby fostering the development of the next generation of scientists and professionals.
In 2026, AKTOR4TheFuture will offer a total of 30 scholarships for graduate studies, 20 of which will be for study abroad (with a scholarship of up to €50,000 each) and 10 for domestic study (with a scholarship of up to €20,000 each).
On the occasion of the launch of the program’s second cycle, the Chairman and CEO of the AKTOR Group, Mr. Alexandros Exarchou, stated: “For the second consecutive year, we are launching today the AKTOR4theFuture scholarship program, which is the largest of its kind in Greece and will help us enrich the Group’s talent pipeline, which we are consistently building.
When we launched the program in 2025, we committed to supporting young Greek scientists so they could bring the world’s best knowledge back to our country and build their future here. That goal is now becoming a reality. At the AKTOR Group, we systematically invest in our people and in the next generation of executives across the economic sectors in which we operate. And we are proud not only that we invest in the next generation and the executives of tomorrow, but also that we keep talent in Greece.”
The first cycle of AKTOR4TheFuture, which began in 2025, is gradually coming to a close, and the first fellow, having completed his master’s degree, has already begun working at the Group, specifically in the IT Department, focusing on Artificial Intelligence.
