Prorata’s June Poll, conducted on behalf of the “Journalists’ Newspaper,” conducted a poll in June showing a clear lead in voting intentions for New Democracy, which maintains its dominance with 24%.
In second place, ELAS, the newly formed party of Alexis Tsipras, appears to be consolidating its position so far with 14.5%, while Maria Karistianou’s “Hope for Democracy” follows in third place with 9.5%.
Further down, in fourth place, is PASOK with 8.5%, feeling the pressure from the Greek Solution, which trails closely behind with 8%. The KKE garners 6% of the vote, while the Freedom Course and the Voice of Reason are at 3.5%.
MERA25, SYRIZA, and the Democrats are barely outside the parliamentary threshold
MERA25 is on the cusp of parliamentary representation with 3%, while below that threshold are SYRIZA-PS with 2%, Stefanos Kasselakis’s party and the New Left at 1%, and finally Niki at 0.5%.
Other parties account for 2.5%, while according to the poll, the percentage of undecided voters stands at 12.5%.
“Who is the most suitable prime minister?”
Among political leaders and institutional figures, Kyriakos Mitsotakis maintains a steady lead in the confidence index for the premiership with 26%.
Alexis Tsipras follows, trailing by 9 percentage points at 17%, and in third place, with a significant gap from the former prime minister, is Kyriakos Velopoulos, with a rating “nearing” 7%.
“Effective Opposition”
In response to the question “Which political party do you think can put the most pressure on New Democracy in the coming period?”, the findings of the poll conducted for “Efimerida ton Syntakton” place ELAS in first place with 27%, PASOK in second place with 12%, and just below in third place is “Hope for Democracy.”
