HEDNO announces the launch of the 3rd cycle of the Professional Master’s Program “Modern Electrical Distribution Networks – HEDNO,” which is implemented in collaboration with the University of Western Macedonia and is an initiative that bridges academic knowledge with the contemporary needs of the energy sector.
The program is designed to provide specialized knowledge and skills in the field of electrical distribution networks, contributing to the professional development of participants and strengthening the technical expertise required by the energy transition and the digital transformation of networks.
The program’s two previous cycles were completed with great success, bringing together a total of more than 100 students, the majority of whom were HEDNO employees. The response and results of the previous cycles confirmed the high educational and professional value of the initiative.
The 3rd cycle of the Program is expected to begin in September 2026. The program lasts 14 months and leads to the award of a recognized Master’s Degree (M.A.). The program combines theoretical training, laboratory instruction, and the completion of a thesis, offering a comprehensive educational experience.
Classes and laboratory exercises are held in person every two weeks, both at the University of Western Macedonia and at HEDNO’s modern training facilities in Anoixi, Attica.
At the same time, as part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, up to fifteen (15) graduates from Polytechnic Schools and Schools of Applied Technology outside HEDNO are expected to participate. For ten (10) of these positions, tuition costs will be covered by HEDNO, while for the remaining five (5) positions, they will be covered by the participants’ own funds.
