A new manufacturing company in the baked goods and sweet snacks sector is making its debut in Western Macedonia. The company is Vanilla Biscuit Factory I.K.E., which was established with its headquarters in Siatista and an initial capital of 15,000 euros.
Its purpose is the production of cookies, rusks, baked goods, and other confectionery products, as well as the wholesale trade of related items.
Four partners hold shares in the company. The largest stake, 26.5%, is held by Georgios Anastasiou, while Stefanos Tziortziotis, Modestos Tziortziotis, and Sofia Tziortzioti each hold a 24.5% stake.
The latter three are related to Konstantinos Tziortziotis, the principal shareholder of Violanta, where an explosion occurred on January 26 at the company’s factory in Trikala, resulting in the deaths of five female employees. Stefanos Tziortziotis is vice chairman of the board of directors at Violanta.
Georgios Anastasiou has been appointed administrator of Vanilla Biscuit Factory, and he represents and binds the company individually.
