The final lists of beneficiaries, Beneficiaries, and Excluded Applicants for the Social Tourism Program for retired self-employed professionals (formerly OAEE) for the 2026–2027 period by the Public Employment Service (PES) on its website, www.dypa.gov.gr.
The program start date is Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The program will last 13 months and will conclude on July 9, 2027. The total budget amounts to €3 million, and a total of 25,000 vouchers have been allocated.
Each voucher has a unique number for each eligible recipient and beneficiary. Upon arrival at the tourist accommodation, providers activate their vouchers through the DYPA’s e-services.
Beneficiaries may stay for up to 6 nights at a tourist accommodation of their choice from the DYPA “Provider Registry,” following consultation with the provider, with a small personal contribution.
Specifically on Leros, Lesbos, Chios, Kos, Samos, and Rhodes, up to 10 nights can be spent free of charge (zero personal contribution), while in the municipalities of Istiaia-Aidipsos and Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna in Northern Euboea and in the Regional Units of Magnesia, Karditsa, Larissa, Trikala, and Evros, up to 12 nights can be spent free of charge.
Subsidy rates are increased by 20% for the peak month of August and for the Christmas period (from December 15, 2026, to January 14,2027) and Easter (from April 23, 2027, to May 9, 2027). The increased subsidy applies year-round for accommodations in Northern Euboea, Evros, and Thessaly (excluding the Sporades).
In addition to stays at tourist accommodations, ferry tickets are also subsidized. The beneficiaries’ contribution amounts to 25%. For people with disabilities, ferry tickets are available free of charge.
For ferry travel, beneficiaries print the voucher from the DYPA e-services and go to travel agencies, ticket offices, or the providers’ online ticket counters. There, they present the printed voucher and request the issuance of a Social Tourism Ticket for the category to which they belong. Please note that no supporting documents are required for any category, with the exception of the large-family category.
Please note that beneficiaries of last year’s program who have not yet activated their vouchers may take a vacation until June 30, 2026.
