The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) will welcome Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias today, Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. to its Board of Directors meeting.
The meeting will feature a discussion on the prospects for the Greek defense industry, the potential for boosting domestic production, innovation, and investment, as well as the role the business community can play in shaping a modern and competitive production model.
According to the relevant announcement, the members of the EEA Board of Directors will have the opportunity to be briefed on issues of strategic importance and to exchange views with the Minister regarding the development prospects created for Greek companies through the strengthening of the defense industry and related manufacturing activities.
According to the Chamber, Nikos Dendias’ visit comes at a time when national security issues are directly linked to the country’s economic resilience and development trajectory.
