AKTOR4TheFuture, the largest corporate scholarship program in Greece, is back in full force for the second consecutive year, offering scholarships to young scientists for graduate studies in Greece and abroad, followed by a guaranteed five-year employment contract with the AKTOR Group.
The program is aimed at young scientists who wish to pursue graduate studies in the fields of Engineering, Technology & Artificial Intelligence, Energy & Environment, as well as Business, Finance, and Management.
In this year’s second cycle of the program, a total of up to 30 scholarships will be awarded: 20 are for studies abroad, with full tuition coverage of up to 50,000 euros per scholar, while 10 are for studies at universities in Greece, offering financial support of up to 20,000 euros per scholar.
Guaranteed employment for 5 years
What sets AKTOR4TheFuture apart is that it is not limited to providing financial support to scholarship recipients for their graduate studies, but also includes their professional integration, as guaranteed employment is offered within the AKTOR Group for 5 years, with the aim of enabling these young scientists to bring their knowledge and expertise to the Group and participate in shaping the next generation of executives.
Support from the Ministry of Education
Commenting on the AKTOR4thefuture program, the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, Ms. Sofia Zacharaki, stated: “It is a shining example and a model of how the private sector can make a substantial contribution to this great national mission: to empower young people, keep them in the country, and truly help them find a solid, bright future here. “The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports wholeheartedly supports this initiative and invites you to submit your application,” he added.
