Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has been in Rhodes since Saturday morning as part of a scheduled visit to the island.
At 11:00 a.m., the Prime Minister will visit the Old Hospital of Rhodes, where he is expected to discuss its future use, and will then proceed to the island’s main port to present the plan for the strategic upgrade of port infrastructure.
At 12:00 p.m., he will chair a meeting with representatives of tourism organizations at the offices of the South Aegean Region.
At 1:00 p.m., Mr. Mitsotakis will meet with citizens at a central café in Rhodes to discuss everyday issues with them and to brief them on the government’s plans in areas that concern them.
Afterward, accompanied by Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, he will visit the “Pervola” archaeological site in the Medieval City of Rhodes, one of the island’s most iconic sites.
