European Commissioner for Defense and Space, Andrius Kubilius, announced today, Saturday, via a post on the X platform, the signing of the SAFE agreement between the European Union and Greece.
As he states in his post, the agreement is “another important milestone for SAFE and European security and will help strengthen Greece’s defense capabilities in the Mediterranean region.”
According to him, the investments will focus on areas such as strategic surveillance, secure communications, and counter-drone technologies.
