In a post on the X platform today, Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) welcomed the U.S.-Iran agreement.
“Greece welcomes the agreement announced between the United States and Iran and commends all diplomatic efforts that contributed to this positive development,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
At the same time, it emphasizes that “we encourage continued cooperation through dialogue and diplomacy.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also underscores that “the restoration of unconditional freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, in conjunction with ongoing efforts aimed at lasting peace, security, and regional stability, are of paramount importance today.”
