On Monday, June 15, at 6:00 p.m., online applications opened for admission to the 50 Vocational Schools (EPAS) of the DYPA for the 2026–2027 school year, in 36 fields with high demand in the job market.
Those aged 15–29 who hold at least a high school diploma are eligible to apply. Students will receive a weekly stipend of 130 euros or 163 euros (for 4 or 5 days of apprenticeship, respectively) for 2 years.
Applications are submitted via gov.gr using TAXISnet codes here.
Specifically, the path is: gov.gr → Education → School Registration → Registration at a Vocational School (EPAS) of the DYPA.
Since 1952, DYPA has implemented the apprenticeship system, which is the only dual system in our country that combines theoretical and practical vocational education at school with on-the-job training in real-world work settings (on-the-job training). The goal is for the trainee to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge as well as professional experience in the labor market.
In the morning, EPAS students complete apprenticeships at private or public sector companies in positions related to their specialization, while in the afternoon they attend theoretical and laboratory courses at the school.
Students in the DYPA EPAS Apprenticeship Program:
Participate in a paid, insured workplace learning program.
Study in modern, fully equipped laboratories and are provided with the necessary textbooks and materials.
They are trained by experienced and highly qualified teaching staff.
They receive a housing allowance of 240 euros per month, as well as a meal allowance of 9 euros per day, with expanded income criteria.
They are entitled to up to 30 days of paid study leave.
They are entitled to a deferment of military service.
