Participants had the opportunity to attend talks and interactive workshops led by experts from Greece and abroad, covering topics related to the current pillars of technology and information technology.
In total, more than 3,500 one-on-one interviews were conducted, while attendees also had the opportunity to exchange views with recruiters and learn about current trends and employment prospects in the field.
Juxhin Caca, Project Manager, Tech Community at kariera.gr, stated: “Developers Day Thessaloniki wasn’t just a tech event. It was proof that when the tech community, businesses, academic institutions, and government agencies come together around a shared vision, they can create something truly special. With more than 650 participants and 30 speakers from Greece and abroad, this year’s event highlighted Thessaloniki’s potential as a modern hub of technology, knowledge, and innovation.”
A representative of SKG.EDUCATION noted: “This year, Developers Day came to Thessaloniki for the first time, and we at SKG.EDUCATION were delighted to be a part of it. As a Platinum Sponsor, we met people with a genuine passion for the field; we discussed AI, the next steps, and how all of this is changing the way we work. The day’s discussions and workshops demonstrated just how strong and active the developer community in Thessaloniki is. We look forward to seeing everyone again.”
Developers Day reaffirmed Thessaloniki’s role as an emerging technology hub in Southeast Europe, highlighting the sector’s dynamic growth in the region. The large turnout and the participation of major companies reflected the strong interest in technology and digital skills, placing Thessaloniki on the map of the country’s key technology destinations.
