Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy prior to the start of the European Council summit in Brussels.
During the discussion, the latest developments in Ukraine were addressed, with the Prime Minister reiterating Greece’s steadfast support in the face of Russian aggression.
At the same time, Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized that operations should not be allowed to spread beyond the war zone, referring specifically to the incident involving the Ukrainian drone in Lefkada.
The prospect of defense cooperation between Greece and Ukraine was also a key focus.
