The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET), specifically its Attica Regional Directorate, was notified via the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), regarding the distribution on the Greek market of cheese originating in France in which enterotoxins from the pathogenic microorganism Staphylococcus aureus were detected.
Specifically, this concerns a soft cheese with the sales name “Petit Brie” and the brand name “Ile de France,” in 125g packages with batch number S26097F2X2 and a “best before” date of 06/06/2027.
This product was distributed by “Eurofood Quality S.A.” to various food retailers. The company has already requested that its customers return the product in question.
Consumers who have already purchased this product (see photos below) are advised not to consume it.
