The Piraeus Port Authority S.A. is among the 41 major private-sector companies in Greece that received the “Diversity Seal” for the first time, a significant institutional distinction awarded by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, which recognizes companies that implement policies and practices to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
As noted in the relevant announcement, the award ceremony took place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Byzantine and Christian Museum, as part of a special event organized by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family. The initiative highlights companies that turn their commitment into action by incorporating inclusion into their daily operations through transparent processes, equal opportunities, accessible practices, and fair treatment of employees.
PPA S.A. is listed first among the 41 companies that received the Diversity Seal, based on the chronological order in which their applications were finalized. For PPA S.A., this distinction reaffirms the company’s steadfast commitment to creating a modern, safe, and inclusive work environment, where all employees are treated with respect and have equal opportunities for advancement.
The Diversity Seal was accepted on behalf of PPA S.A. by the company’s CEO, Mr. Su Xudong, in the presence of the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Ms. Domna Michaelidou, the Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, and the Deputy Minister for Equality and Human Rights, Ms. Elena Rapti.
As Mr. Su stated:

The Secretary of the Board of Directors of PPA S.A., Mr. Savvas Sanozidis, also participated in the event with a related presentation, outlining the company’s relevant initiatives.
