ERB ASFALISTIKI, the largest general insurance company in Cyprus and a member of the leading EUROBANK banking and insurance group, is collaborating with the Ministry of Defense for the 11th consecutive year as part of its efforts to strengthen social responsibility and prevention initiatives, supporting programs that promote road safety for National Guard members.
According to the relevant announcement, the company remains steadfastly committed to the philosophy “Be Aware—Anticipate—Act,” actively contributing to the development of responsible driving behavior.
With the central message “Let’s not let our dreams turn to shards!”, a special event was held on June 19 at the ERB Cyprus Group Headquarters. During the event, ERB ASFALISTIKI and the Ministry of Defense honored ten National Guardsmen who made extensive use of the Free Bus Transportation Program.
In recognition of their dedication, each National Guard member was presented with a commemorative plaque and a tablet. This initiative aims to further encourage conscripts to take advantage of the program, thereby substantially reducing the risks associated with their travel.
Remarks at the event were delivered by the Minister of Defense of Cyprus, Mr. Vasilis Palmas, the Chief Executive Officer of the ERB Cyprus Insurance Holdings Group, Mr. Takis Feidia, and the General Manager of ERB ASFALISTIKI, Mr. Andreas K. Stylianou.
ERB ASFALISTIKI, a strong “Force for Safety” standing alongside society, continues to implement initiatives that promote prevention and safety. It provides substantial support for the National Guard’s efforts to protect its members.
