The Sklavenitis family has established a new company in the agricultural product processing and packaging sector, thereby expanding its production footprint.
The company is “KIFISOS HELLENIC PACKAGING S.A.” which was incorporated a few hours ago with its headquarters in Peristeri and an initial share capital of 3.5 million euros, paid in full in cash.
The company will be primarily engaged in the production and processing of nuts, while its business scope extends to the wholesale trade of processed agricultural products, the production of spices and herbal infusions, the processing of legumes, and packaging services for agricultural products.
The sole shareholder of the new company is “Hellenic Paper Industry Glaros S.A.,” which holds 100% of the company’s 350,000 registered shares.
The first board of directors consists of five members, with Maria Sklavenitou serving as chair and Gerasimos Sklavenitis as CEO. The company’s term has been set at 50 years, until 2076.
The Sklavenitis family’s approach follows an international trend, in which major retail groups are strengthening not only their retail networks but also their production footprint and logistics facilities, with the aim of achieving autonomy, controlling costs, and more.
