Eurobank received the Diversity Seal as part of a new initiative by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family to recognize private-sector companies that actively incorporate the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion into their operations.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Byzantine and Christian Museum, as part of a special event organized by the Ministry, and the Bank was represented by Group Chief Human Resources Officer Natassa Paschali.
The Diversity Seal is the first organized government initiative to evaluate and recognize companies for implementing equal opportunity policies and preventing discrimination in the workplace. The evaluation is based on qualitative and quantitative criteria that address both inclusion practices and the characteristics of each company’s workforce.
The project’s goal is to raise awareness of diversity and promote the adoption of positive inclusion practices in the workplace through a structured assessment and recognition mechanism.
This award reaffirms Eurobank’s long-standing commitment to fostering a modern and inclusive work environment, where respect, collaboration, and equal opportunities are integral elements of its corporate culture. At the same time, it recognizes the contribution of the Bank’s employees, who every day help shape a work environment that harnesses diversity as a source of creativity, growth, and progress.
The Bank’s policy on diversity, equality, and inclusion highlights the corporate values, principles, and commitments that support a diverse, fair, and inclusive work environment, where everyone has the opportunity to excel, free from discrimination based on any characteristics, such as age, gender, marital status, physical or mobility impairments, sexual orientation, social and economic background, or other characteristics and beliefs.
The Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michaelidou, stated: “I would like to congratulate Eurobank on receiving the Diversity Seal. In an industry directly linked to trust, access, and service to citizens, equality and inclusion cannot remain mere declarations. They must be evident in the way a bank organizes its day-to-day operations, supports its employees, provides equal opportunities for advancement, and fosters an inclusive work environment. This distinction recognizes companies that have undergone a specific evaluation process and demonstrated that they implement inclusion policies in practice.”
Natasha Paschali, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Eurobank, stated: “Receiving the Diversity Seal is, for us, a significant recognition of our commitment to creating a modern and deeply human work environment.
This distinction belongs to the people of Eurobank, who every day help shape a culture of respect, collaboration, and inclusion. “We thank the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family for this initiative and are committed to continuing to invest in meaningful actions that promote equal participation, development, and opportunities for all.”
The Diversity Seal is implemented by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family as part of the “Awareness of Diversity” of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
