The nationwide RealPolls/Protagon survey, the sixth of 2026, was conducted from June 20–22 among a sample of 1,537 citizens and reflects a new dynamic in the political landscape, as ELAS appears to be establishing itself as the second-largest party, significantly behind New Democracy but well ahead of the other contenders—in the poll, Tsipras’s party recorded twice the support of PASOK-Movement for Change.
At the same time, the ruling party, although experiencing some erosion, continues to enjoy the security of a solid voter base that prioritizes stability above all else.
In terms of voting intention, New Democracy stood at 25.8%, down from 27.5% in the May poll but significantly higher than the April figure (24.6%). In second place, with its support rising to 18.2% (from 14.1% in May), is EL.A.S., while “Hope for Democracy” ranks third with 9.4%, though it has lost two percentage points since the previous poll.
PASOK-Movement for Change stands at 8.9%, with a marginal increase in its support since last month, but remains in fourth place. The KKE (5.4%), Greek Solution (4.5%), and Voice of Reason (3.3%) are within the parliamentary threshold, while Freedom Course (2.8%), MERA25 (2%), SYRIZA (1%), and Niki (0.9%).
In the projected results, New Democracy stands at 28.3% (the same as its last election result, in the 2024 European elections), while ELAS has moved its percentage up to 21.4%, as it appears to be absorbing a large portion of the so-called anti-establishment vote, regardless of ideological affiliation.
Karystianou’s party, meanwhile, has slipped to 11.9%, and PASOK-KINAL is approaching double digits at 9.9%. Next come the KKE at 6.4%, the Greek Solution, which has slipped to 5.1%, the Voice of Reason (3.6%), and the Freedom Course, which is on the cusp (3.1%). MERA25, with 2.5%, and, of course, SYRIZA, with 1.2%, appear to be outside Parliament.
