A rally took place on Wednesday evening in Larissa’s Central Square, with the participation of farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers.
The demonstration was organized by the United Federation of Agricultural Associations of the Prefecture of Larissa.
Tractors and farm vehicles gathered in the city center, while participants raised issues regarding subsidy and compensation payments, problems with the monitoring system, losses from diseases and natural disasters, as well as production costs.
Participants also called for measures to reduce production costs, citing agricultural diesel, rising fertilizer prices, and profiteering in the market. As they argued, these issues directly affect the viability of farms.
