The National Organization for the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions (E.O.P.A.E.) and Metropolitan College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, launching a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening education, vocational training, and social contribution in the field of addiction.
The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience, offering meaningful opportunities to the educational organization’s students while simultaneously strengthening E.O.P.A.E.’s work and services.
Under the Memorandum, Metropolitan College students will undertake internships at EOPAE facilities in Athens and Thessaloniki, the possibility of awarding scholarships to the Organization’s employees or beneficiaries, as well as the organization of educational visits to its facilities.
Joint educational and social outreach initiatives
The agreement also includes the development of joint educational initiatives, information, and awareness-raising for professionals and students, as well as the use of equipment to meet the needs of E.O.P.A.E. beneficiaries, thereby contributing to the improvement of the services provided.
This collaboration reaffirms the commitment of both organizations to invest in knowledge, social solidarity, and the development of modern educational and social practices, with a focus on people and their needs.
