EdenCore Technologies announced today, Thursday, that it has secured an investment of 300,000 euros as an extension of its initial funding round from Investing For Purpose. an Athens-based agtech company that develops monitoring solutions and precision farming applications using artificial intelligence for specialized crops.
The investment follows the recent completion of a €900,000 seed funding round led by Uni.Fund VC and featuring participation from Loggerhead Ventures, AGROMA (a manufacturer of agricultural sprayers), and private investors from Theti Club.
This new investment brings EdenCore Technologies’ total early-stage funding to 1.2 million euros and strengthens the company’s ability to expand its flagship product, Viewer, while integrating a stronger social and environmental impact (Impact & ESG) framework into its growth strategy.
Viewer is a comprehensive tool for improving efficiency in specialty crops. By leveraging advanced image analysis and proprietary artificial intelligence models, the platform monitors crop productivity, vitality, and health at the individual plant level, enabling growers to make more timely and data-driven decisions. In addition, the technology integrates with sprayers, enabling the optimization of pesticide use and reducing waste by up to 40%.
