OLG (Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation) is taking the next step toward implementing a modernized lottery technology system, which will enhance its ability to achieve sustainable growth and create long-term value for Ontario.
Following a competitive bidding process, OLG selected Intralot Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of the Bally’s Intralot Group in Canada, as its new provider of lottery technology solutions. As the contractor, Intralot Canada Ltd. plans to expand its team to support the system’s implementation and OLG’s ongoing operations at its facilities in Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto.
According to the announcement, the new technology solution will modernize OLG’s existing core systems and enable the Organization to leverage emerging technologies and enhance the player experience.
Once fully operational, the system will enable faster time-to-market for products and offer new, more engaging ways to participate in games, allowing OLG to keep pace with players’ evolving expectations in Ontario’s ever-changing gaming market.

The new lottery technology solution is expected to be implemented by 2029.
