The Ministry of the Environment announced an extension of the completion deadline for all “Exoikonomo” programs implemented through the Recovery and Resilience Fund, with the aim of supporting citizens and businesses, as well as ensuring the smooth completion of energy retrofit projects.
The new deadline for beneficiaries to complete the work is Friday, July 17, 2026, and applies to the following specific programs:
The “Save” programs are a key tool for reducing energy costs for households and businesses, upgrading the building stock, and enhancing energy efficiency, notes the Ministry of Environment and Energy in its announcement.
Given the completion of the Recovery and Resilience Fund, the new deadline is final, and no further extension is planned. The ministry urges beneficiaries to take the necessary steps immediately to complete their projects within the specified timeframe.
The program is being implemented as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” with funding from the European Union’s NextGeneration EU.
