From generics and conventional pharmaceutical forms to biotechnology and artificial intelligence. This is UNI-PHARMA’s next big bet, as it moves forward with one of its most ambitious investments.
The Tsetis Group company has submitted an application to Enterprise Greece since November 2025. Specifically, it is requesting that the project be classified under “Strategic Investment 2,” which covers the fields of research, innovation, and biotechnology, emphasizing that the investment will bolster the development of cutting-edge technologies for the production of high-value-added pharmaceutical products, while also creating new highly specialized jobs.
Since June 25, the investment plan has been open for public consultation, which will conclude on July 5, as part of the evaluation process for its inclusion in strategic investments.
The investment involves the establishment of a Research and Innovation Center focused on the development of monoclonal antibodies, biosimilars, and new pharmaceutical products. The plan calls for the creation of infrastructure for the development of biopharmaceutical processes, with the ultimate goal of producing biosimilars and, primarily, monoclonal antibodies.
At the same time, the new center will develop injectable, inhaled, and transdermal formulations, expanding the company’s research and production footprint. The plan also includes the use of artificial intelligence applications in research and development processes.
The completion of the public consultation and the project’s inclusion in the Strategic Investments program represent the next critical milestone for the implementation of UNI-PHARMA’s investment.
