The American College of Greece announces the launch of its new Professional Certificate in Translational Biomedicine & Entrepreneurship, an intensive and applied professional training program that links biomedical innovation with commercialization in the healthcare sector.
According to the relevant press release, the program, which begins in September 2026, is aimed at graduates and professionals in the fields of Biology, medicine, and health sciences, as well as professionals working in the fields of biotechnology, the pharmaceutical industry, medical devices, digital health, regulatory affairs, and research and development.
The program lasts 14 weeks, with classes held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., from September 15 to December 17, 2026, on the Deree—The American College of Greece campus in Agia Paraskevi. The program is taught in English, and participation is by registration only, with a deadline of September 14, 2026.
The goal of the Professional Certificate in Translational Biomedicine & Entrepreneurship is to address a critical and ever-growing need in the field of life sciences: the development of professionals who can understand not only scientific innovation but also the processes required to transform it into new healthcare solutions, products, services, and business initiatives.

The program combines fundamental principles of drug development, biologics, vaccines, medical devices, and diagnostic tools with topics related to regulatory science, clinical trial design, pharmacoeconomics, personalized medicine, and the creation of new health-related business ventures.

Duration, Certification, and Tuition
The program lasts 14 weeks and includes 56 hours of instruction. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Professional Certificate in Translational Biomedicine & Entrepreneurship from Deree – Center of Professional and Continuing Education, provided they meet the minimum attendance requirement—that is, at least 70% of the classes—and achieve satisfactory performance on the assessments for each module.
The program fee is €2,200 for individual participants, while for members of the ACG community and the unemployed, the fee is €1,980.
