A Cabinet meeting chaired by Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. at the Maximos Mansion.
At 5:30 p.m., the prime minister will meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, Annita Dimitriou, also at the Maximos Mansion.
The agenda items for the Cabinet meeting are:
- A presentation by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Kostis Hatzidakis and Minister of State Akis Skertos on the government’s achievements during the first half of the year and the planning of priorities for the second half of 2026.
- Briefing by Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis on the progress of the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
- Presentation by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Kostis Hatzidakis and Minister of Rural Development and Food Margaritis Schinas regarding agricultural payments, subsidies, and compensation for June 2026 - review and next steps.
- Presentation by Minister of the Interior Theodoros Livanos and Deputy Minister Vivi Charalambogianni on the bill for the reorganization and modernization of the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government.
- Presentation by Minister of Labor and Social Security Niki Kerameos and Deputy Minister Anna Efthymiu of the bill to strengthen occupational insurance, improving the operational framework, and creating incentives to attract participants to the second pillar of the social security system.
