The Ministry of Rural Development and Food, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy and Finance and the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR), the payment of de minimis state aid to alfalfa producers affected by the consequences of the restrictive measures implemented to combat sheep and goat pox was completed.
The aid is being paid to 26,218 eligible producers, with the total amount of payments amounting to 29,523,270.25 euros.
The process was carried out digitally via an application on the AADE’s myBusinessSupport platform, utilizing data from the 2025 Single Aid Application, data from the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings, and the required cross-checks, ensuring the rapid and reliable disbursement of aid to beneficiaries.
This measure supports the income of producers affected by the restrictions on the movement of animal feed, helping to maintain their production activities and support the primary sector.
