Avis is revamping its car-sharing service, introducing Avis Go Now—the new name for Avis Car Sharing—with the aim of enhancing flexibility and immediacy in urban travel.
As the company states in a press release, the service retains all the features that have set it apart in the market, while the new brand identity highlights the ability to access a car at any time and for as long as the user needs.
Through the Avis Go Now app, which is available for free on the Apple Store and Google Play, users can, in just a few minutes, get a car to go wherever they need and for as long as they need—even for just 1 hour. All they need to do is enter their driver’s license, ID, and payment card, select the pickup location and time, and locate the nearest car, which they can easily unlock through the app. Pricing is dynamic and calculated based on usage, with no maintenance, fuel, or insurance costs.
Once the trip is complete, the user returns the car to any participating service point within a wide network of stations across Athens, from the city center to key locations in Attica, such as Athens International Airport, the Port of Piraeus, Nea Smyrni, and Kifissia. All stations serve as pickup, drop-off, and parking locations, simplifying car use for short trips.
Actively contributing to green mobility, the Avis Go Now fleet consists of the most modern electric vehicles, while all parking spots are fully equipped with chargers, ensuring a comfortable driving experience.
